How to Get Glitter Off a Shirt
Glitter is comprised of tiny particles of metals and polymer plastics chosen for their shiny and colorful properties. It is most commonly used in craft projects and makeup applications. These tiny particles can be difficult to remove from many types of clothing due to their finely ground state that makes individual glitter pieces "hook" into fabric. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Shake the shirt vertically to loosen the glitter, preferably outside where it won't attach to household furnishings.
-
2
Lay the shirt on a flat horizontal surface, like an ironing board, and apply scotch tape to the areas covered in glitter. Alternatively, prepare a fresh sheet of a lint roller to cover the portion of the shirt covered by glitter.

-
3
Roll the lint roller or remove the tape slowly to pull up the leftover glitter. If you pull the tape too fast, you'll create tape marks on the shirt. The scotch tape will typically pull up more of the glitter than the lint roller, but the lint roller removes the glitter faster.
