Check for fiberglass that is embedded in the skin but not sticking out. Sterilize the needle by boiling it in hot water and then wiping it down extensively with rubbing alcohol. Use the sterilized needle to carefully puncture a small hole in your skin near the edge of the embedded fiberglass particles. Use your fingers to work the fiberglass particles toward the puncture hole until part of the fiberglass is protruding from the break in the skin. Then remove the particles using tweezers.
