Some men have bare areas in their facial hair.

Many men want to grow a full, thick-looking beard. But, for some men, this is not possible; instead of covering the entire lower face, their beard appears patchy with bare, hairless spots. Instructions

    • 1

Using a volumizing shampoo designed for facial hair use, lather up your beard in the shower and scrub it using your fingers.

    • 2

Rinse your beard thoroughly with clean water.

    • 3

Using a microfiber towel, pat your beard dry.

    • 4

Blow dry your beard when it is still slightly damp. This will help to increase the volume of the hair, especially in thin areas of the beard.

    • 5

Apply a quarter-sized amount of beard pomade to your palms and work it vigorously into your beard. Comb your fingers through your facial hair, pulling gently in an outward motion. This will give the facial hair more volume.

    • 6

Using a beard comb or brush, comb the hair from thicker portions of the beard over to cover thin or bare portions of your beard.
