Instructions

    • 1

Check around the zipper to make sure there is nothing stuck in it. Even a slight thread can cause a serious hangup.

    • 2

Pull the zipper gently in the opposite direction it was going when it jammed.

    • 3

Rub the pencil lead around the zipper. Angle it toward the underside the zipper, if possible. Concentrate on rubbing the teeth that are in the direction you need the zipper to move. Pull the zipper gently.

    • 4

Rub an unscented candle on the tracks of the zipper. Use a small birthday candle, if possible. Pull the zipper gently.

    • 5

Rub an unscented bar of soap around the stuck zipper pull. Pull the zipper gently.
