If you enjoy making casseroles for your family, then here is one to add to your collection. Tater Tot casserole uses a minimal of ingredients and takes under one hour to prepare and bake. Does this Spark an idea?

  1. Ingredients

    • 1 ½ pounds lean ground beef

      1 package dry onion soup mix

      1 to 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

      1 tsp garlic salt (optional)

      4 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas and carrots may be substituted)

      2 cans (10½ oz.) cream of mushroom soup (cream of celery or cream of chicken may be substituted)

      1 package frozen Tater Tots

    Directions

    • Heat your oven to 375 degrees. While the oven is preheating, brown the hamburger and add the soup mix, garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce. Spread the mixture into a greased 9X13 cooking dish. Layer the frozen vegetables on top of the beef using a spatula, entirely covering the beef. Cover the vegetables with a top layer of Tater Tots. Bake the casserole for 40 minutes. If you notice after 30 minutes that the Tater Tots are getting too brown, reduce the heat to 350 degrees for the last 10 minutes.
