Bison is more expensive than beef. Bison only receive antibiotics in case of an emergency, where some cows receive them on a regular basis. Bison are also a more eco-friendly livestock because they are only raised on pasture land, with their foraging stimulating the growth of grass, while many cows are raised in confined stockyards.
