In my circle of buddies–both in real life and the blog world–I’ve become known for my addiction to furniture rehabs. Not only do I occupy nearly all of my free time with a paintbrush in my hand working on my own projects, but I also love seeing what my fellow furniture flipping friends have been up to.
A great example, Jackie and her husband recently bought their first home together and, like any first time buyer, have been plotting furniture placement for their new space. Clearly a natural at the craft of rehabbing, I could hardly believe my eyes when Jackie sent her most recent furniture flip my way.
Jackie found this dusty old coffee table for practically nothing and just knew that it was bursting with serious potential.
By removing the cabinet doors and adding a few coats of paint, this piece instantly had a more contemporary feel. Following with a few finishing touches, inlcuding a colorful do-it-yourself cushion for the top and a basket for storage, Jackie was able to whip up a fabulous new bench for her guestroom.
