Hi, I'm Rebecca, "The Art Lady", and we're going to make skeletons out of paper plates. To make a skeleton, you're going to need eight paper plates, scissors, a hole puncher, and sections of pipe cleaner. I used Herbert to make a template, and trace them on the paper plate. Or, you can print them out online. Once you have your template, go ahead and place it on the paper plate. For the arms and legs, I use one plate. Trace them out. After you trace your template, go ahead and cut them out. Paper plates are nice to use, because they are thicker, and they hold up. Once you have your template cut out, it's time to connect the arms together. Do that by punching a hole through both of them, same time. And, I like to use pipe cleaner, and what you're going to do is, you're going to fold it over, and then twist it around. And, that way, you can have movement in your arms. Twist it around the backside. Here, we're going to attach the leg bone to the thigh bone. Hole punch them both together, and you're going to take your pipe cleaner, and what you're going to do is fold it over, and then wrap it around. And, flip it over, and repeat the process on the back. Fold it over, and then twist it around. That way, we have a movable knee. After you follow your template, before long, you'll have a skeleton just like Herbert. And, that's how you make a skeleton out of paper plates.
