Hi, I'm Veronica Perez from Cornucopia Foods, and I'm here to show you how to make chicken and dumplings in the Crock-Pot. Let me show you the ingredients that we will be using, four chicken thighs, a teaspoon of chicken bullion, a cup of frozen peas and carrots, a cup of chopped celery, a cup of chopped onion, three cups of water, a teaspoon of onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper, thyme, a bay leaf and for your dumplings, you will need a quarter cup of milk and two thirds cup of prepared baking mix. The first thing you'll do is season your chicken. There's your garlic powder, your onion powder, a little bit of salt, a little bit of some ground pepper, your thyme and then you're going to place your chicken inside your Crock-Pot. Next, you'll add all the rest of your ingredients, your teaspoon of chicken bullion, your frozen peas and carrots, your celery, your onion and your three cups of water and one bay leaf. Then you'll place your lid on your Crock-Pot, turn your heat up to high and let it cook for six to seven hours. Now don't forget, the last 30 minutes is when you're going to add your dumpling mix. So go ahead and prepare your dumpling mix and drop by teaspoons into the Crock-Pot, place the lid back on and let it cook for another 30 minutes. Okay, so our chicken and dumplings have been cooking for the last five hours. Now remember, we added our dumpling mix the last 30 minutes of cook time. Let's take a look and see how it is.
