Hi. This is Ann Myrick. Today I'm going to show you how to clean a fiberglass tub. The first thing that you want to do is to get the right type of cleanser for a fiberglass tub. What makes it different from like a porcelain tub would be you do not want to use a harsh abrasive cleanser. So, when you pick out your cleanser look at the directions and see what it says as far as abrasive, non abrasive. There is another type you can use. You can use a vinegar and water base. Vinegar is a great cleaner. You could spray vinegar and water on the sides and the bottom of your tub, but today I'm just going to use this product which you can find in the grocery store. It's very easy, because it has a great jet spray on it. So, you're going to go around your tub with that, with the cleanser and then with a very mild sponge you're going to go just circular motion gently go around your tub. Now, another thing that makes; this tub is a jet tub so I also have to clean the little areas where the water comes through. Then with your fiber glass you just go all the way around and clean. Then with clean water you can either use a hand squirter or you can just use a bucket of water. Thoroughly clean and wash off the soap. Go back several times if you need to and rinse the soap really well where you don't have a buildup. You could go back and buff if you want to or just let it drip dry. This is Ann Myrick and that's how you clean a fiberglass tub.
