H I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to remove scratches from plastic. The most common thing I could think that someone would want to remove scratches from that is plastic is their eye glass lenses so I'm going to demonstrate on this pair of glasses but this will work on any small plastic scratches or scratches on plastic. What you want to find is a good filler and lemon Pledge or any dusting cleaner that is not green, green cleaners don't contain the wax because then they wouldn't be biodegradable but cleaners that are not green do contain the wax and they will fill in the cracks. You just buff them and really let the wax get down into each little scratch and fill it in. If you do not have Pledge you can do this same thing with Brasso. Brasso has a really strong odor so just don't hold it too close to your face when you do this. Buff the scratched part for three to four minutes on each side. If you can't tell which side the scratch is on you know, better safe than sorry. So go on and do each side. It is better to over do it than under do it I guess I should say. Rinse them off and clean with a regular glass cleaner or if it is not transparent glass then clean with all purpose cleaner. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you remove scratches from plastic.
