Hi, I'm Chef Candace Conley and I'm going to show you how to make chicken cordon bleu. Now I know it sounds fancy but it's really not, it's an easy recipe and I think you are really going to enjoy it and by baking it, we're making it just a little bit healthier. Cordon bleu is often fried. So we're going to bake it in the oven this time. You want to start with boneless skinless chicken breasts. You're going to pound them thin between two sheets of plastic wrap. Then you are going to thin a thin layer of Dijon mustard over the chicken followed by prosciutto and then shredded cheese. Then you're going to roll them up, secure them with toothpicks, then you're going to roll them in melted butter, that's kind of a fattening part but you've got to have something to hold the breadcrumbs on with. So you're going to roll it in melted butter followed by breadcrumbs, bake it in the oven at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes until they are golden brown and then you have a great little entree.
