Hi, I'm Kathryn O’Donnell, horticulturist and entrepreneur from Botanica's Interior Landscaping. Today, we're gonna talk about how to trim brown tips on your peace lily plant. Peace lily is a very favorite plant of everyone's for their house. It has beautiful white flowers. But, in nature, peace lilies grow in a bog, so they like a lot of moisture, so it's not unusual for them to have brown edges or damaged leaves. What we wanna do is take a very sharp pair of scissors, and, if leaves are damaged on the edge, just make a natural pattern of the leaf. The other thing, that's important, with a peace lily, is that if it has plenty of leaves, take your damaged, or brown edged leaves right off. They will grow new leaves, happier, and healthier at the top, but keep it fertilized, keep it moist, 'cause in nature, it lives in a bog. And, in your house, it's much drier.
