Good day, everyone, I'm Joshua Clement with Lighty Contractors, and today I'm going to talk to you about how to remove scratches and scrapes from your laminate flooring. Now for this job you'll need a couple things. For this job we will be using a laminate flooring compound filler, a plastic putty knife and a paper towel. So we have our scratch here. The first thing we're going to do is take our paper towel and just wipe the area down. After that, we're going to take our compound filler and apply it right on top of the scratch. We want to work it down into the groove just a little bit, then we'll take our putty knife and run right over the top of it, kind of press down a little bit. That's why we're using a plastic one and not a metal one. If you use a metal one, it's going to leave some scrapes there. Then, we'll take our paper towel and just wipe off the excess. Now this filler will not remove the scratch completely, especially if it's going against the grain of the wood but it will keep it not as noticeable so that way you aren't embarrassed having people over. I'm Joshua Clement with Lighty Contractors. Thank you for watching and good luck with this project.
