Hi. I'm interior designer Christopher Grubb. An apartment bathroom may be small but it doesn't have to mean it can't equal big style. Starting with the walls I would definitely encourage a larger piece of art. Don't do a lot of small cluttered things. A larger piece lets the room breathe. For your softer fabrics a window treatment is wonderful to add as a valance. You can do a shower curtain and fresh towels with a pattern in them that you love. From a color in the pattern you can paint the walls of your new scheme or if you're a do-it-yourselfer you can hand stencil on to the wall and give this great unique dimension, especially for you. For storage needs shelves are ideal. Here's a great example though of one that has a couple of tiers for toiletries, a makeup mirror and a space for towels. One thing I also find in apartment bathrooms is the lighting's just on a regular switch. I really encourage you to get a dimmer and give it to your landlord, have them swap it out. Because it now give you the freedom to control the light quality in the room. I'm Christopher Grubb and thank you for watching.
