Hi I'm Linda Hutchinson. Today I'm going to show you how you can make a tissue pom-pom baby mobile. So I already made a few pom-poms here. I'm going to show you how to make another. You take some tissue paper, about 10 layers and you stack it and then fold it in an accordion way like this. Now I use a rainbow of pastel colors. You can do whatever color combination you would like. Now you want to secure the middle. I'm using little zip ties here. You can use wire, ribbon, whatever you feel comfortable with. So I'm just going to go ahead and pull this securely and then just cut off the excess with my scissor like that. Now I'm going to take the ends and I'm just going to give them a little point because I just want to get that effect. You don't have to. You can do a point, you can do rounded. You can just leave it the way it is. Whatever you prefer. Okay. Lets move this excess out of the way. So you just fan it out like this and just start fanning out the layers. Just crumple them up. Kind of get your aggressions out on the paper. Just crumple it all up. Now anytime you make a baby mobile you want to remember to hang it high enough so that the baby can see it but cannot reach it. You want to stimulate the baby visually but you don't want them to be able to reach anything like this especially when unattended. So you crumple it all together like this and then tie some ribbon around it. Now here's the part where you secure your pop-poms to the mobile. I made them in staggered lengths just to give that kind of look. I kind of liked it but you can do it however it is that you want, you can make them all match. However you prefer. I took a piece of wire and bent it up to make the cook for this to hang and I put some more ribbon on top to secure that to the ceiling. You would just put a little cup hook or whatever, in the ceiling. Whatever it is you want to make sure that it's secure so it does not fall in the crib and that it is out of reach of the baby. And then the breeze in the room will just make this turn and it will catch the babies eye. And that's how you can make your tissue pom-pom mobile for a baby. My name is Linda Hutchinson, and thank you so much for joining me. Bye bye.
