Hello, my name is Dr. Stacy Mobley, and I am a naturopathic doctor that blends the best of mainstream and natural therapies to help you transform your health, re-energize your life and renew your mind. In today's episode we are going to talk about nebulizers versus humidifiers. So, nebulizers are something of a machine that your doctor prescribes you if you have respiratory issues such as asthma which is a big one and so with the nebulizer you have medication that is aerosoled or turned into little droplets that when you put the mask over your face you are able to inhale the medication that way and nebulizers should never be left on all day. You should only have a nebulizer on when you need to use it and as I mentioned it's usually prescribed by your doctor. Humidifiers, a humidifier is a bit different from a nebulizer. They both aerosol but for the humidifier you can leave that on all day. If you have questions or comments, please leave them below and I'll be sure to answer them.
