Hi there I'm Phil Provins, owner of Top Floor in San Diego, California. I'd like to talk to you about installing laminate flooring without removing your baseboard. It's not necessary to remove your baseboard when you install your laminate floor. Just install the floor as recommended by the manufacturer leaving the recommended expansion space. And then purchase a base shoe or quarter round that has a profile wide enough to cover the expansion gap. If it covers the expansion gap attach it just like you would any molding and you are good to go. Once again I'm Phil Provins, owner of Top Floor in San Diego, California. And I just talked to you about installing a laminate floor without removing your baseboard.
