Hi, my name is Laura, I'm an artist, and I'm going to show you how to sketch a handbag. So, because we're sketching, we can be really loose about it, and don't have to worry about being perfect. That is the nature of sketching. So, to draw a handbag, consider the shape, the shape of a handbag is generally like a rectangle. If you want to do a circle or something ovular, that's totally fine, those exist. But generally, they are rectangular sort of bags and then, they're also dimensional, right. So, you're going to have the lip at the top, and it comes around the side and then, in the back, oops, but it's o.k., we're sketching. So, then, we're going to have to show the dimensions of the bag and how it extends backward with a little sort of, upward triangle sort of shape. And then, it has a clasp on top, which are those two circles. Alright, and maybe a little bit of a wrinkle around where it opens. And probably some feet, they usually have something they sit on. And now, we're going to draw the part where the strap goes. And for this one, I want to have the strap sort of weighing down on the ground. Aright, that is our strap, I'm going to give it some dimension, ooh, and a little bit of, a little place where it attaches. And then, you can do whatever you want, you can give it some patterns, etc, I'm going to give mine stripes. Alright, and you give this front a little bit more weight. And there you go, that is how you sketch a handbag. I'm Laura, thanks for watching.
