Hi, I'm Katherine Lee, parenting expert and I'm Danielle from Cooktown, Brooklyn, and today we're going to make a quick granola. Well we're going to start with one and a half cups of oats and then next we're going to add about a third of a cup of almonds and a quarter cup of salt. This whole thing? Um hum. Okay. So mix that all together. Alright. And then we're going to take two tablespoons of melted butter. Alrighty. We're going to mix that up with some maple syrup. We're going to make just about a quarter cup of maple syrup. You're going to mix that together and then I would say about a quarter of a cup of brown sugar. Alright. Put that in there and once that's all mixed you're going to put that into the dry ingredients. Okay, is this mixed enough? Um hum. That's good. Once that's all incorporated thoroughly you can go ahead and put that into the Pyrex baking bowl, bake that in about 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Twenty minutes? Um hum, and then you're going to add the dried fruit at the end when it comes out. And here we have our finished product which is a beautiful healthy and colorful granola.
