Hi. I'm Al Krakosky and I'm an artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to draw a 3D cube. Now for this some straight lines are involved, so you want to use the ruler or something like this. This is the right triangle. We're going to start by drawing the 2D version of our shape. So we're doing a cube, so we're going to draw a square. We're going to start off with our bottom line and draw a straight line across. And then line this up on our bottom line, for our first vertical line. Straight up. One on this side. And then connect the two on the top. Next we're going to add our vanishing point which helps determine the perspective of your drawing. We're going to put ours on this side over here. And a little dot. Not too dark cause you're going to erase this later. And then from here, we just connect our corners to the vanishing point. We start with our bottom corner, all the way up. And this corner right here. Connect. And lastly, this corner up top here. Now we don't need to do this one because it's blocked by the rest of the cube. Now from here, you want to duplicate these lines. So this is our vertical line here. So bring this out. And vertical line down. And then same thing for the top. Horizontal line. Right across. And then, you just want to erase your vanishing point and your lines that extend out from the cube that you don't need. No you can make your shapes as deep as you want. You just got to move these lines further out. And there's your 3D cube. Now from here, you can add some shading. It always helps with 3D objects. On the top and on the side. And that is how you draw a 3D cube. Thank you for watching and keep on drawing.
