Boneless pork chops are cut from the back of the pig between the animal's hip and shoulder and is a lean cut of meat with little marbled fat. Because it is quick cooking and versatile, the boneless pork chop is identified by the National Pork Board as "the most popular cut from the pork loin."

Sauteed Boneless Pork Chops

Sauteing is a technique where the pork chop is cooked over medium-high heat for a few minutes. To saute boneless pork chops, heat equal parts olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until the butter melts. Add the boneless pork chops that have been dusted in flour seasoned with salt and pepper to the pan and allow them to cook for three to four minutes. Flip the chops once and continue cooking on the other side for another three minutes. Once the pork chops have reached an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit, remove them from the skillet and serve.

Baked Pork Chops

As boneless pork chops do not have much fat, they can be marinated for up to five days prior to cooking to add flavor and moisture. This marinating process is especially important prior to baking pork chops which will prevent them from becoming tough and dry. Mix olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice and other favorite flavors in a roasting pan and add the pork chops. Cover the pan and place it in the refrigerator for up to five days prior to cooking. Place the pork chops in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 30 minutes on each side until the internal temperature of the meat is 160 degrees Fahrenheit.

Braised Pork Chops

Braising is a cooking technique where meat is slowly cooked in a liquid at a low temperature. To braise boneless pork chops, first brown the meat on both sides over low heat in a large cast iron skillet. This should take about 10 minutes per side. After the meat is browned, add diced vegetables such as onions, carrots, potatoes or tomatoes and cover the meat with a braising liquid such as chicken stock or wine. Cover the skillet and cook the pork over low temperature for 45 minutes. The meat should be very moist and tender.

Fried Pork Chops

Deep frying pork chops is a quick method of preparation that only requires a few ingredients. Mix an egg, milk, salt and pepper in a shallow bowl and several cups of yellow cornmeal in another shallow bowl. Dip a pork chop in the egg mixture and then dredge it in the cornmeal and repeat this process until all the chops are coated. Place the breaded pork chops into a cast iron pot that is filled with 1 inch of vegetable oil heated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook the pork chops for eight to 10 minutes while turning them several times to ensure they brown evenly.
