How to Get to Rien in "MapleStory"

In Nexon's massively multiplayer online role-playing game "MapleStory," players use roads, ships, ferries, taxis and other transportation networks to travel quickly between distant areas of the map. Because many of the continents in the "MapleStory" world are separated between large bodies of water, these transportation networks are not only convenient, but necessary to reach some map areas. Rien is a snow-covered island south of Victoria Island that contains the starting area for the Aran character class.

Travel to Lith Harbor, a small coastal village in the southwestern corner of Victoria Island, directly west from the city of Henesys.

Enter the village and locate the non-player character (NPC) named Puro. Puro is a blue penguin riding a whale in the water near the dock. Speak to Puro and purchase passage to Rien for 1500 mesos.

Walk onto the whale's back and wait for departure. The trip from Lith Harbor to Rien takes approximately five minutes. Exit the whale when you reach your destination.
