Established in 1947, the Conecuh Sausage Company is a business based out of Evergreen, Alabama that produces a variety of smoked meats. Conecuh's sausages are among its most popular products. Conecuh's sausages are available in different flavors, such as cajun or hickory smoked. Conecuh's sausage are cooked in the same manner as sausages produced by other companies. It is a relatively simple task. Grilling and frying Conecuh's sausages are the easiest methods.

Grill

Cut sausage into four to six inch links.

Light your gas or charcoal grill. Set your gas grill to medium-low heat. Allow your gas grill to preheat for about ten minutes. Adjust you charcoal grill's vents to obtain an internal temperature of approximately 275 degrees Fahrenheit.

Place sausages on grill. Use a spatula or tongs to turn the sausages frequently so that they'll be evenly cooked.

Grill for about ten to twelve minutes until the sausages are browned on all sides. Remove and enjoy.

Stove Top

Cut sausage into four to six inch links.

Add 1 tbsp.of vegetable oil in a frying pan or iron skillet. Heat for two to three minutes over medium heat.

Place sausages in pan or skillet. Use a spatula or tongs to turn the sausages frequently so that they'll cook evenly.

Cook for about 14 to 16 minutes until the sausages are browned on all sides.

Warning

The internal temperature of cooked sausage should reach 160 degrees. If you feel like you are unable to determine whether or not your sausages are thoroughly cooked, use a meat thermometer.
