How to Make a Wonder Woman Crown

Make a Wonder Woman crown for the Super Hero in your life.

What little girl (or big girl) wouldn't want to be Wonder Woman? With this tutorial you can make a crown in just a few simple steps. This crown would be the finishing touch on a Halloween costume or a great addition to a dress up box.

Supplies Needed

Use glitter foam to make this crown extra sparkly!

  • Craft foam in red and gold (use pre-glittered craft foam if available)
  • Scissors
  • Craft knife
  • Glue gun
  • 1/2" wide elastic

Step 1

Cut crown template out of the foam.

Make a template on a piece of scratch paper. Trace your template onto the back side of the glitter craft foam. Cut out foam gold crown piece.

Step 2

Cut a star out of the top of the crown.

Trace a star shape onto the back of the crown piece. Carefully cut out the star with a craft knife.

Glue the red foam to the

Cut out a small piece of the red glitter foam to place on the backside of the gold piece to show through the star cutout. Use a hot glue gun to put the piece in place. You should see the un-glittered side of foam for both the red and gold piece.

Step 4

Cut and glue the elastic to the back of the crown.

Cut a piece of elastic that will fit around the back of the user's head. Use hot glue to attach it to the back of the crown.

Step 5

Glue the piece of elastic to the second side.

Glue the second end of the elastic to the other back side of the crown. You will now have a continuous loop.

Your crown is now complete. Go forth and save the world!
