How to Troubleshoot an Annovi Reverberi RKA 4037

Meredith Jameson

The Annovi Reverberi RKA 4037 is a high-powered pressure pump designed for commercial use for washing large surfaces or objects. The pump is die-cast constructed with a brass head, anodized cooling fins, ceramic plungers, oversized roller bearings and one-piece connecting rods. Sold online or through select dealers, the pump should function well with regular maintenance, care and operation by individuals familiar with operating heavy machinery. If problems do occur with the pump, however, some troubleshooting steps may be helpful.

Step 1

Plug the Annovi Reverberi pump into a working electrical supply if nothing on the device functions. Check the fuse or circuit breaker and replace or reset as needed.

Step 2

Check the nozzle for obstructions and clean with a damp cloth if the pump pressure does not reach the desired level. Change the nozzle and replace the valve seal if necessary.

Step 3

Clean the valves on the pump if the pump is extremely noisy during use. Check all connections on the pump and tighten as necessary.

Step 4

Tighten the piston packing if there is water leaking from the bottom of the pump. Tighten the connections on the pump and the water hose as well.

Step 5

Reduce the pressure setting if there is a buildup of pressure when the pump is operated.

Step 6
