A large, fluffy, white sheep costume can be a simple task with a stunning result. This costume can be created quite easily without any sewing, just a bit of cutting, painting and glue.
Things You'll Need
- Loose quilt batting
- Black felt
- Floral wire
- Hot glue gun
- Oversize white sweatshirt
- White leggings
- Black gloves
- Black shoes
- Face paint
- White hat or ski mask
Ears: Cut two ear-shaped pieces out of black felt. Fold the bottom of the ear in half and attach it to a headband by wrapping floral wire around both the ear and the headband, tightly securing the ear to the headband. Repeat with the other ear--be sure to space the ears appropriately from one another. Put the ears on your head once the rest of the costume is complete.
Head: You can use a white ski mask or knit hat. Take a piece of loose quilting batting and pinch the middle of the piece, twisting it slightly. Attach the middle of the batting to the mask or hat using a hot glue gun. Be sure to add enough glue to secure the batting. Continue with this process to cover the entire mask or hat.
Body: Use an oversize white sweatshirt and add batting using the same process as the mask or hat. Add larger pieces of batting to the stomach and back areas and smaller piece on the arms. Stuff a pillow in the stomach of the sweatshirt to create a full, fluffy body.
Legs: Get a pair of white leggings. Add batting to the legs as well. Be sure to stretch the fabric a bit before gluing, otherwise they might be hard to put on once the glue dries.
Hands and feet: Wear black gloves on your hands and black shoes on your feet.
Face: Use white face paint to cover your entire face. Paint your nose black and draw on large eyelashes for a dramatic effect.
