  • Beef or Pork - thinly sliced
  • Corn starch
  • Cold Water
  • Mixing Bowl

To make tender beef or pork for stir fry, it's not necessary to buy the most expensive cut of meat. This easy marinade will tenderize meat well. Whether ordering from your butcher or cutting the meat yourself, make sure it is sliced thinly against the grain.

In medium sized mixing bowl, mix 1/2 cup corn starch to 1 cup cold water for each pound of meat. Mix well to get out any lumps.

Add meat to bowl. Toss until each piece is evenly coated with the corn starch mixture. Refrigerate and stir every few hours until ready to cook.
