3 Hair Accessories to Try for Your Next Night Out

It’s pretty easy to get stuck in a rut when it comes to styling your hair. You can make it a habit to opt for a familiar style, never straying far from your hair comfort zone. But sometimes even something as simple as adding a few snazzy barrettes can really refresh your look and give your step some extra pep. Here are a few ways to jazz up your hair — long or short! — for a night out.

3 Hair Accessories to Try for Your Next Night Out: Stacked Barrettes

1. Stacked Barrettes – Grab a pack of printed, studded or sparkly barrettes and stack them by the quads. Gather sections of your hair and draw them back to the middle of your head. Shift the barrettes off-kilter to create a visually intriguing option and pull the rest of your hair into a low ponytail. You can leave your hair down as well depending on the look you want to achieve. I picked up this set at Ulta.

Gold cuff

2. Gold Cuff – This is a simple statement piece that you can wrap around a messy ponytail. Add a little Grecian glam to what would otherwise be a standard, everyday look with this gold ponytail clip. If you have shorter hair, try a low ponytail with this piece. Still effective and unique!

eyelet clip

3. Eyelet Clip – Draw your hair back in the center and secure it with an eyelet clip for a dressed-up or formal look. Twist the rest of your hair into a bun and secure it with bobby pins. This particular eye opener clip holds a good amount of hair. Twist it up and add the eyelet on top for an alternative look. Whichever way you style it, this piece can be a classy way to change up your routine.
