When it comes to DIY, I like to keep it simple yet effective. This baby photo garland is easy to make and a perfect piece of decor for a first birthday party or baby naming ceremony — you’ll find that it’s the talk of the party as guests enjoy looking at all those irresistibly cute pics of your baby. The best part? You can hang it in the nursery or playroom for a pretty little decoration after the party. I love using party decor for interiors to enjoy it all year-round!
Materials You’ll Need:
Ribbon in 3/8-inch and 2-inch widths
Tissue paper tassels (optional)
I printed square (4-inch-by-4-inch) photos, but you can use any size you like. You can even find shaped punches or corner punches at the craft store to create different effects. Begin by punching holes in the top corners of your photos.
Use your thin ribbon to tie the photos onto the larger ribbon. Continue until all photos are hanging.
You can create two garlands and hang one above the other or one very long, wide one! It’s all up to you.
Consider adding photos to the garland year after year and pulling it out for graduations or special occasions! Or create a “family” photo garland with pictures of all your children and family members. I also love using photo garland for bridal showers with pictures of the bride and groom. This DIY garland has countless creative uses.
Enjoy crafting a DIY photo garland for your next party or special occasion!
