The holiday card has long been a tradition for wishing friends and family a very Merry Christmas. But why stick with the same old store-bought variety when there are so many simple ways to bump your holiday cards up to the next level?
A picture is worth 1,000 cards. Include a photo or two with your card. Whether it’s a family photo to show how the little ones are growing like weeds, or a snapshot of you and the card receiver from a special event that year, photos are a great way to show loved ones that you are thinking about them around the holidays.
We all gotta eat. You know there is one recipe that your kids/boyfriend/dog can’t get enough of and has quickly become a staple in your life. Include a copy of what you’ve been nibbling on this year and share with friends and family.
Don’t forget the little ones. Kiddos love receiving mail. Address holiday cards to kids and include a little note asking them to give their parents a happy holiday hug for you. The kids will enjoy receiving a holiday card and parents will surely appreciate your thoughtfulness … and a giant bear hug, of course!
