I love stumbling across home decor that’s both beautiful and responsible. Take these tumblers, for instance. Does that shape look familiar to you? If you enjoy a nice glass of wine like this girl does, then it should! They’re made out of recycled (or in this case up-cycled) wine bottles by San Diego-based BottleHood. Wine bottles don’t have a redemption value in California, so 80 percent of them wind up in landfills. Not very eco-chic when you think about the fact that glass takes 4,000 years to decompose. BottleHood Founders take the landfill bound bottles and turn them into glasses, vases and kitchenware.
