Don’t you love it when a good thing gets even better? I know I do. One of my favorite furniture designers, Kenneth Cobonpue, just released a new line of lighting fixtures through Hive, the affiliate brand to his online furniture store. And just as I can’t get enough of his chairs and lounges, I’m equally swept off my feet by his lighting design!
I adore the subtle beauty of this moon lamp. It would add a soothing, mysterious quality when hung in the corner of any room. Same with the beautiful Halo pendant lamp, below. It reminds me of a planetary orbit or supernova explosion.
Just like in his furniture design, Cobonque uses ingenious materials, shapes and colors that emphasize an appreciation for the natural world. This pendant below, called Kai O, is made of palm leaf spines and abaca. It’s beacy and fresh, but still sleek and sophisticated.
Kenneth, you’ve done it again. Now I’m wondering, what can’t this man do?
