People—have no fear. If the world is ever taken over by the undead, I’ve got some key tips on how to survive. You know, just in case you need to flee your home. In honor of the Ziploc® Fresh 180 challenge “How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse,” here’s what you’ll need to know.
Stock Your Car
Think ahead and stock your car. Make sure you’ve got plenty of water, a couple of bucks and some trail mix stashed in the car. And, one of these handy little window break tools just might save the day, too, so be sure you have one.
Prepare an Emergency Pack
Pack a Ziploc® Brand Space Bag® with a comfortable outfit, closed toe shoes, a flashlight with extra batteries, a deck of cards, some dehydrated space food, a whistle, antibacterial wipes, a first aid kit and some waterproof matches. Keep one of these safety bags in your car and one placed in an unlocked, outdoor storage unit.
In preparation for some hand-to-hand combat, I’d suggest taking a few classes such as kickboxing, fire-breathing and sword fighting (although, I’m not sure where you’ll find a sword during an apocalypse). That way, when you’re approached by a zombie you can use your newly acquired saber skillz to slay him. And, yes, that’s skills with a Z!
