Color Me Happy: Natural Decorating Colors

eHow Food Blog

Kids like colors, especially when it comes to food, and brightly colored snacks and sweets have become a common part of our daily culture. In our house, we try to avoid food additives as much as possible. It isn’t always easy, but if you stick to whole foods and refrain from processed, packaged items, you can keep your exposure to a minimum.

Despite this, I do recognize sometimes you need a little color in your life — and your food.

Determined to find a better way, I began searching for natural food coloring products. This journey lead me to discover India Tree products. Their decorating colors are made by using natural vegetable colorants and contain no trans-fat. They’re perfect for those who want to avoid artificially made food dyes.
