Your entire home will smell like the holidays after making this winter warmer from mixologist Joe Campanale.
Mulled Wine Recipe
6 ounces brandy
6 to 8 dashes orange bitters
2 tablespoons honey
Splash vanilla extract
Pinch ground cloves
2 cinnamon sticks, plus more to garnish (optional)
Pinch ground nutmeg
Orange wedges, to garnish (optional)
In a medium pot, combine all of the ingredients. Place the pot over medium-low heat and warm until steaming but not boiling. Let the flavors steep, keeping the wine from boiling, until aromatic, about 30 minutes. Serve warm garnished with an orange wedge and cinnamon stick, if desired.
