Victor Nunes: Portugal’s Artist Who Works With Food and Found Objects

There really is a potential for art in everything we see, and the perfect example of someone who realizes that is artist Victor Nunes. There’s not a whole lot known of Nunes other than he’s from Portugal and his online presence consists only of his Facebook page where he posts his latest creations.

He works in mixed media: food, office supplies, ink, and other found objects one would find lying around the house. Some pieces are creepy, some are adorable, but all are incredibly detailed and well thought out. A lot even have a minimalist Pablo Picasso look to them.

You’ll find a dozen or so of his latest works below, but if you have 15 or so minutes, go to his Facebook page where he’s stockpiled several hundred of his photos work over the last couple weeks.
