Budweiser Goes Emotional (Again) for Their Annual Super Bowl Commercial

When you have an angle that works, you stick with it. That’s what Budweiser has done once again with another tear-jerker of a Super Bowl Sunday commercial. The Clydesdales are back, but this year, Bud is pulling no punches—they’ve included a 10-week-old puppy. How can you go wrong a puppy? You can’t. You win, Budweiser—I’m tearing up—I succumb to your cool, crisp, refreshing powers.

Here’s the early look at “Puppy Love.” Its TV debut will broadcast sometime in the first quarter of the game (when the Seahawks will be up by 10 points).

And because Bud’s Super Bowl commercials are so incredibly great, here are a few more from the recent past. (Warning: You will cry.)

2013 (This one was rough.)

2006 (Oh man, here we go again.)

2002 (The 9/11 tribute–broadcast only once–5 months after the US terrorist attacks.)

2004 (A little comic relief. Much needed after the cry fest you’re going through right now.)
