School Bans Student Who Shaved Her Head in For Classmate with Cancer
Kamryn Renfro (left), a 9-year-old student at Caprock Academy in Colorado, was suspended from school after she shaved her head in support of her best friend Delaney Clements, who has neuroblastoma–a form of childhood cancer. Her elementary school dress code states shaved heads violate its dress code. Kamryn’s mom sent the school administration an email explaining the gesture was in goodwill, but she was told her daughter can’t return to school until she grows her hair back or wears a wig as her shaved head is a clear violation of the dress code, which is designed to “promote uniformity.”

Sadly for them, the stunt got them arrested for burglary, reckless endangerment, and jumping from a structure–they turned themselves in to authorities yesterday.
