Mom of Twins Acts as a Speed Bump to Save Her Kids in Runaway Car
Mindy Tran, a 22-year-old mother of twin daughters, laid down on the street behind her car to stop it from rolling out into the street while her toddlers were strapped inside. “I laid down horizontally, using my body as a speed bump to stop the car,” the Massachusetts mom said. While she’s currently suffering from a broken leg and a dislocated shoulder and hip, something tells me she’d do it again. “I knew at that time it was either [my life] or theirs,” she responded in regards to her parental instincts. “I don’t consider myself a hero, I am just a mother.”

The app has over 30 million users worldwide–mostly students under 18. A Google rep stated that the company uses the email data for possible advertising, among other purposes. This story will only get more interesting as the suit proceeds, mainly because it possibly affects anyone who uses Gmail. Photo: Georges Gobet
