Will Spain Adopt a New Time Zone?
Spain’s not doing to well in the employment field—more than five million citizens are unemployed (with 52 percent under the age of 25 jobless). But the country’s government is hoping a possible time zone change will jump start productivity. This means earlier dining hours, earlier TV programming, no more naps after lunch (and shorter lunch times)—basically, a standard 9-to-5 workday.
