I have always enjoyed wrapping gifts in creative ways. I especially love the natural texture and look of kraft paper and find by simply adding a bow and a little greenery, it can become a beautiful parcel.
Adding this handmade watercolor tag is the cherry on top.
Things You’ll Need
- Watercolor paper, blank gift tag or blank card stock for the printable
- Watercolors (I used Winsor & Newton professional series)
- Fine brush No. 0
- Water basin
- Fine-tipped pen or marker
- Tag punch or regular and scalloped scissors (optional, for printable)
Lightly draw two vertical curves that almost make a circle.
Draw stems and leaves.
Continue all the way around.
Mix your paint, and with a fine brush, fill in the leaves.
Add little dots for berries if you wish.
After the paint dries completely, write a message in the center of the wreath with a fine-tipped marker or pen.
You can now attach your beautifully hand-painted tag to your gift.
If you’re short on time, don’t worry. I’ve got you covered with these free printables. Go here to download.
Enjoy, and happy wrapping!
