Getting ready for a holiday party on Saturday afternoon, I realized none of my shoes worked with my outfit. For a few minutes, I thought my only option was a mad dash to a shoe store, but then I remembered Jessica Begum’s fantastic eHow article on DIY cap-toe flats. A quick review told me I had all the materials, including comfy winter-white heels I hadn’t worn in several years.
In a flurry of paint, ModPodge and glitter, I refashioned the shoes before running off to get my hair done. By the time I got home, my newly silver-and-black heels were ready to party, and so was I. Thanks, Jessica!
