A multispray shower uses several jets installed at different heights to provide a massage and spa-style experience that goes beyond cleaning to relax and invigorate. You can choose the heights at which various jets are installed to get the most out of your new multispray shower.

When installing a multispray shower, there are several things to consider. The first is the relative height of all of the people who will be using the shower. The highest jet should be placed no higher than the shortest person using the shower can comfortably reach to adjust it.

The second thing to consider is the location on users' bodies where the massage jets will be most effective. If, for example, you suffer from lower back pain, you may want to place a jet at the height where the spray will hit your lower back.
Other areas to consider are between the shoulder blades, the midback and the upper-thigh region, especially for those who are on their feet all day or exercise by running, jogging or biking. Depending on how many jets you are installing, prioritize their locations by the areas of the body for which they will be most therapeutic.
If many people with different requirements will be using the shower, consider installing adjustable sprays that can be turned on and off individually or rotated up and down to achieve the perfect height for each user.
The Right Spray Height
To make sure that your multispray shower jets are placed at the right height, use a tape measure to measure up from the floor to the area on your body you want the spray to hit. Mark this measurement on the wall(s) on which the jets will be installed.
Keep in mind that all the jets should be placed with users' heights in mind. If one user is significantly taller than another, you may want to consider placing a jet at the height of each user's lower or middle back. You also want to make sure that the taller user's jets aren't aimed at the exact height of the shorter user's face.
Which Wall for the Sprays?
If you can install the jets on more than one wall, place those that will be aimed at areas on your back on the wall opposite the one in which the highest shower head will be placed. (The highest showerhead is the one that you will use to wash your hair or take a quick, traditional shower.) This will keep the body jets from aiming a hard spray of water at areas of the body that might be too tender for it, allowing you to step in and out of the body sprays as needed.
You may also want to ensure that the body sprays aim away from the shower door or curtain to avoid soaking it and potentially causing water to leak out, especially if the door doesn't have a tight seal or the curtain is not closed all the way.
