One of the many places a woman can develop stretch marks is on her breasts. While having stretch marks on this area of one's body may not be as obvious as stretch marks on the legs or underarms, there are times when they are noticeable. For instance, these marks may be more noticeable when a woman is sporting a bathing suit, sports bra or lingerie. The good news is that there are some useful ways to cover up stretch marks on a woman's breasts in order to help her be less self-conscious.
Hide the stretch marks on your breasts by wearing clothing that adequately covers them. For a woman with stretch marks, careful selection of clothing may need to become a common practice. Choose full coverage bras to give you a basis for the areas that need to be covered. If you prefer low-cut or v-neck tops, wear tank tops or camisoles beneath them so you can achieve the look you desire without showing your stretch marks. Wear a full coverage bathing suit top, one piece bathing suit or a surf shirt at the beach to cover your stretch marks. Finally, opt for full coverage sports bras or T-shirt instead of tank tops when you are exercising.
Use makeup to cover up your stretch marks. Visit a cosmetic store and look for a full coverage foundation. Test the color by matching it to the bottom side of your wrist, which should closely reflect the color of your chest. Use a sponge to apply the makeup to the stretch marks on your skin. Blend the makeup into your skin, so it is not evident that you are wearing any. If you are prone to sweating or will be getting wet, choose a water-proof makeup. Finally, the nice thing about makeup that you purchase at pharmacy stores is that the store will typically take it back even if it has been opened. This will be useful if you are not 100 percent sure of which color to choose.
Help blend your stretch marks with the rest of your skin with a tan. Since stretch marks can be light lines on the body, darkening them along with the rest of your skin may help prevent them from standing out. Use a tanning skin lotion on your body, taking special care to cover the areas of your breasts that have the stretch marks. Another option would be to visit a salon and have a fake tan sprayed onto your body.
