Antifungal creams found in the local drug store can be expensive and contain harsh chemicals. These chemicals may work quicker than natural antifungal remedies but also expose the skin to unforgiving elements. A natural antifungal cream for the feet is effective, causes no side effects and can be made at home. Many of the ingredients needed to make your own antifungal cream can be found in your local supermarket or drug store.

In a small container with a lid, combine 1 cup of cocoa butter lotion and 10 drops each of tea tree oil and lavender oil and stir until mixed. The cocoa butter will soothe and heal cracked skin caused by a fungus infection. Apply directly on feet and in between toes twice a day. This may take several applications before athlete’s foot is completely gone.
