Honey & Apple Cider Vinegar Diet

Losing weight is difficult, and there are many fad diets that claim to burn weight off quickly and permanently. The apple cider vinegar and honey diet consists mostly of consuming apple cider vinegar and honey along with a low-calorie, healthy diet. Integrating these foods into your diet may help you lose weight.

    Breakfast

  1. A good breakfast on this diet would include a glass of milk or orange juice and two pieces of toast soaked in apple cider vinegar. You can put a little honey on top of the toast. Another breakfast idea would be two English muffins slathered with honey and a few supplemental drops of apple cider vinegar. You may also wish to soak a few sausage links or pieces of bacon in apple cider vinegar. Never eat more than two or three pieces of these breakfast meats in a day. They are full of protein but they are also full of fat. Instead of meat, try frying some potatoes in apple cider vinegar.

  3. A healthy salad would make an excellent lunch on this diet. Use apple cider vinegar to make a vinaigrette for your salad, and include carrots, cucumbers and any other vegetables you like. Slice up some apples and dip them in honey. Drink a glass of water or tea. An alternative lunch would be a turkey sandwich topped with honey. Soak your turkey in the apple cider vinegar for a unique taste. Have an apple, orange or banana to finish off your meal and a glass of milk to drink. Or create a vegetable sub to dip in your apple cider vinegar. Dip some crackers in honey and enjoy with a glass of orange juice.

  5. Soak some tofu in apple cider vinegar and bake it in the oven. This will give the tofu a firm texture. Mash potatoes and mix in some apple cider vinegar. Top it with low-fat butter. Bake some dinner rolls and top them with honey. Drink a glass of tea with honey mixed in liberally. If you don't like tofu, you can use meat. Cut the fat off of a piece of ham, boil it, and top it with honey. Fry some bread soaked in apple cider vinegar and chop it into bite-sized pieces. Top peas, carrots or broccoli with honey.

  7. Many people believe apple cider vinegar and honey help them lose weight. People who use apple cider vinegar think it helps speed up the metabolism. Amazing Green Tea claims that apple cider vinegar helps you feel fuller. It also helps reduce spiking in blood sugar. Although honey is full of sugar, it is also full of vitamins and minerals. The sugar in honey is more complex, meaning it takes longer to digest. As a result, the energy from the sugar lasts longer and avoids blood sugar spikes. This helps your metabolism run more smoothly.
