Easy to Make Homemade Kitchen Cabinet Cleaner

Kitchen cabinets can get really dirty over time. Between the finger prints, food smudges, grease buildup and general opening and closing, they take a real beating and get pretty dirty. To keep your kitchen cabinets clean, you only need a few household ingredients and a little elbow grease. A homemade kitchen cabinet cleaner is easy to make and really get those cabinets clean and grease-free.

Things You'll Need

  • 1/2 cup of Borax

  • 1 cup of distilled white vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon of dish liquid

  • Clean cloth

  • Bowl

  • Magic eraser sponge for tough stains

Add 1/2 cup of Borax to a bowl.

Add 1 cup of distilled white vinegar.

Mix well with a kitchen whisk or spoon.

Dampen a soft cloth with the cleaning solution.

Gently clean your cabinets with the cleaning solution, being sure to give extra attention to the area around the knobs, corners and edges. Once you have cleaned all of your cabinets, take a clean damp cloth and lightly wipe them all, removing any suds or residue leftover from the cleaning solution.

Tip

For extra dirty areas or smudges that aren't easily wiped away, use a magic eraser sponge to remove them. Just dampen the sponge and gently wipe the smudge or stain away.
