- Wear a support bra. Buy a bra that is well-made and one that will support the breasts. The most effective way to get firm breasts is to prevent them from sagging in the first place. The No. 1 reason why women have sagging breasts is because they either do not wear a bra or they wear a bra that is not supportive enough. This is especially true of women who have large breasts. An underwire bra or sports bra will support the breasts and keep them from hanging, which ultimately causes them to sag.
- Do weight-bearing exercises for the pectoral muscles in the chest. Purchase a pair of 5- to 8-pound dumbbells. Lie on your back on the floor, a bench or on your bed with your arms straight out from either side of your body. Hold a dumbbell in each hand. Bring your arms up above your face making the dumbbells touch each other. Lower your arms back down to your sides. Repeat this exercise for 10 to 12 repetitions for a total of three to four sets. In four to six weeks, you will notice that the pectoral muscles in your chest will be more defined giving you a firmer look to your breasts.
- Have a cosmetic surgery procedure performed by a board-certified cosmetic surgeon. If you have very saggy breasts and have tried to firm them without results, you may want to consider having a consultation with a cosmetic surgeon. You can choose to have a breast lift that will remove the sagging skin and make the breasts higher and firmer, or you can have breast implants inserted under the skin or behind the chest wall. Both procedures can make the breasts firmer. You can also choose to make the breasts larger depending on the size implant that you choose. It is possible to have both a lift and implants done at the same time.
