Acid reflux is a condition that affects many people. Acid reflux can be caused by the overproduction of acid in the stomach. Acid reflux is a condition that can be controlled just by changing some of your eating habits. Apples have been known to be a helpful natural source in helping with acid reflux. Experiment with several kinds of apples to see which kind helps the most. Be sure to also consult with a doctor if you have symptoms of acid reflux.

    Raw Apples

  1. Eat an apple each day to help with symptoms. As you eat raw apples, you should see your acid reflux symptoms reduce. Try organic apples such as, Red Delicious apples and Braeburn apples since they work best to help with acid reflux. Granny Smith apples may not work as well since they tend to be more tart than these Red Delicious and Braeburn apples that tend to be sweeter and can better reduce acid reflux symptoms. Also try eating an apple or even a few slices after a meal to help reduce the acid buildup in your stomach.
  2. Apple Cider

  3. Drink a small amount of apple cider vinegar to help with acid reflux. Make a small mixture of apple cider and water. Mix a couple of teaspoons of apple cider into a cup of water and drink it. If the taste is not desirable and you prefer not to drink it in this mixture, add apple cider to your meal. You can also try adding apple cider to one of your favorite drinks that can colorize the taste of the vinegar. Try this solution daily to see if it reduces your acid reflux.
  4. Applesauce
